DragonForce is a power metal band that was formed in 1999 in London, England. They are most famous for the use of twin guitar solos in their music. They were the first in their career choice to publish songs on the website of MP3.com. They did not take long to go to the top of that websites heavy metal charts. The first of their songs named The Valley Of The Damned made it to 500,000 downloads in only a few months. Steve Williams and Steve Scott, who were two of the originals in the band decided to leave and form their own band. Nevertheless, the bands continued on their popularity streak that they started with and are still together today.

Over the next few years, they have become very popular. The have completed the publishing of three albums and have been touring with some other famous and well known metal band such as W.A.S.P and Iron Maiden. Adrian Lambert left the band in 2005 he and two of the other members had differences in their musical ideas about the band. Lambert was replaced by Leclercq in 2006. He was made to be an official band member after they finished their tour and his performance rated him to be good.

There were problems with the release of some of the other albums but, they have continued with a few different artists to come and go. One of these albums was named Inhuman Rampage. They are still together today, doing what they started out to do. They are currently on tour and they are also working on redoing their album called Inhuman Rampage. This album was originally released in 2006. There tour also has Killswitch Engage, Chimaira and He Is Legend. They are also into the same metal sounds as DragonForce.
